Dr Buchanan earned her doctorate in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis from Northwestern University. She moved to Seattle to work as a product manager in a small biotech company before joining the R&D team at GE Healthcare. Over twenty years of academic and commercial experience gives her a unique perspective on quickly determining what customers want and how to deliver it.
